Hey Bob! I had an opportunity to listen to the songs you have posted on this site, and I really enjoyed them. I also graduated CHS in 1979, however I really do not remember you, and I'm sure you don't remember me. Either way, I wish you much success in the music industry. Judging from the quality of your music, I'm suprised that you haven't been nominated for a grammy, or maybe you have. Take care, and God Bless.
Response:
No, I don't remember you from high school, Manuel, but that's alright. No Grammy nominations yet...I've spent most of my music career doing church and Gospel music, so I never got a lot of exposure in other arenas. I'm writing a lot of new songs, and hope that someone will record one and push it up the charts. I lived in San Antonio for a few months a few years ago, but moved on from there. I play regularly in Fredericksburg, so if you watch my schedule you might catch me there. I think I might be heading that direction in November, so stay tuned to the website. Blessings, brother.

I caught your show at Wild Horse Casino on the July 3. great show, I especially like the song "Native American". I am Lakota from the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota and Retired from the US Navy. It was good to hear your original songs from a Native perspective.
Response:
Thanks, brother for your support and for your service to our country. I'm honored that you would visit my site and that you enjoy my music. Blessings and safety to you and all your loved ones.

Bob...listened to the three songs on your website. I especiallys enjoyed listening to the "Cursed Tree" song. Your voice/music just goes to show that talent doesnt really describe your work. The word that describes your work is "gifted." Keep up the good work...it sounds great as always! Peace!
Response:
Thanks, Carlene...it's been such a long time since I've heard from you. I saw your post on FB about your 6 year struggle, and hope you're doing better these days. Blessings to you, and I'm glad you enjoy my music.

What talent you have!! I work with a woman who gives guitar lessons (I'm a vocal and winds teacher there) and when I sub for her guitar classes I tell everyone of her students to get their fingers as close to the fret bar as possible!! It's amazing the difference it makes. :p So see? Even though I never practiced the things you taught me have stuck. :)
Response:
Thanks, Katie, or should I say, Mrs. Gray! It's good to know that somethings stick with my students. Hope to see you at a gig some time. Thanks for signing the guestbook, and thanks for remembering! Blessings.

Thanks for the contact. We would love to come back to Fred, but right now we're both working jobs, so it's really difficult to get time off. If we could make it full time on the road like we did before, we would do it! For sure, keep your feelers out, and we'll see what happens!

Bob is one of the most talented singers and songwriters I have met. He has a great turn of phrase and man can he sing! Plus he is a real gentleman and a professional. I count it a privelege to have had him on the radio show and I definitely encourage anyone out there who likes great music to give him a listen.
Response:
Erich is a staunch supporter of local music in the Phoenix area, and highlights it on his weekly radio show, The Arizona Music Cafe. Check it out at www.azmusiccafe.com. I've enjoyed the times he's allowed me to perform on his show, and look forward to doing it again! Thanks, Erich!
