Bob & Penny present an eclectic blend of music, both in the tunes they cover and the songs Bob writes. Bob has been influenced by such artists as Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Jim Croce, James Taylor, BB King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan and bands like Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Eagles. His original music reflects his Southwestern and Native American roots, as well as the love for country music instilled in him by his mother.
The Villas perform around the Lubbock area and elsewhere across the country. During their frequent travels they have also performed extensively in the Texas Hill Country (an area known for its music appreciation) and in Music City - Nashville, TN.
